Keeping Your Skin Care Tool Clean

Because bacteria build-up can contribute to acne breakouts, it's particularly important that anything that touches your face is clean. Our skin care tool is made in Germany of high quality stainless steel so it will withstand repeated sterilization. You can invest in a hospital grade disinfectant (like Barbicide) from a local beauty supply store, use rubbing alcohol or wash the tool with antibacterial soap. Whichever method you choose, make sure that you wash your skin care tool before and after use. You should also store it in a relatively clean place. Cosmetic bags or bathroom drawers are great, but allow your tool to dry and put it in a ziploc bag first. That way, it won't pick up dust or makeup residue.
